I, Officer Alexis Zarazinski, responded to a dispatch at the beginning of my shift with officers Smith and Jones. We were dispatched to a residential neighborhood where an elderly women called in a bout a women screaming and possible gunshots to her neighbor. My response time was about three minutes from the time I headed to my car till the time I arrived. I was told EMS was also in route to the location. I was first officer on scene. Field Notes When arriving I scanned the area of the call. It was a residential neighborhood that the incident occurred in. I noticed the elderly women who appeared to be a neighbor. She was outside with a frantic look on her face and a phone in her hand. I notice across the street two kids playing basketball. When in the backyard you notice that the victim has three gunshots to her abdominal area. She was leaned up against the back of the garage. There are blood pools on the ground as well as four shell casings right by the blood and garbage can. You notice in the distance some roofers on a nearby roof.
