As I read “What It Means to Say Phoenix Arizona” the message behind the text is heartwarming. In life there are going to be people that you grow with and outgrow overtime. Often you can read a story and immediately feel the emotions behind it. Throughout this story Victor is hit with a flood of motions from learning the passing of his father. Victor and his father had an estranged relationship, causing communication over time to nonexistent. Though the means of traveling to collect his belongings left behind for him, seem far out of reach there's always a way. One of Victors old friends whom he may often avoid becomes his only means of hope of collecting what was left of his father. Sometimes, it’s the people you least expect that crosses paths with you and can ultimately change your life. In the story you can almost feel what type of emotions that Victor felt from hearing the sad news of his father. The fact that he had just lost his job and not having money or means to travel was very heartbreaking. In this instance it makes the story a bit more relatable. When you read a
