Discuss the psychological, sociological, economic and theological philosophical aspects of the funeral process. How do each of these aspects facilitate the resolution of grief? - According to Friedman (2014), the psychological aspect of funeral or memorial can be divided into two folds, the first thing is to remember the person when they are still alive and secondly, to formally say goodbye to them due to the idea of their physical presence will no longer be around. By doing so, it can help the family or friends of the deceased person to resolve or even complete the things that have been left which emotionally unfinished (Friedman, 2014). The sociological aspect of the funeral is to preserve the cultural heritage, the tradition of each people from different part of the world has their own way to honor the dead. By means of a funeral process, they could give them the proper farewell which is based on their own beliefs and tradition which is a common practice on their community.
