Running head: SOCCER STUDENT-ATHLETES 3 Executive Summary Soccer Student-Athletes is a sports scholarship agency matching colleges and coaches from the NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA, with talented soccer students-athletes from Spain. As a sports scholarship agency firm, business will offer services including (a) advice of good English academies, (b) registration of the exams needed such as TOEFL and SAT, (c) translation of high school transcripts, (d) connection with at least three universities or colleges and their coaches to evaluate which one fits the customers best interest, (e) appointment with the American embassy in Madrid, Spain to get a student visa, (f) booking the cheapest flight and health insurance, and (g) four years of college in consistent contact with the company for any questions or help. In doing so, the company’s target market would be Spanish soccer teenager players between the ages of 16 and 20 who are willing to combine both their soccer and academic careers to travel oversees to make their dreams come true. As a way to attract this segment, Soccer Student-Athletes will differentiate themselves from the competition by focusing solely on soccer athletes. Soccer Student-Athletes will be owned as a partnership by Marta Turmo and Xavi Turmo. As owners, Marta will be responsible for actualize the website, run weekly online meetings, chat with the customers, and go over the entire process with them while Xavi will be responsible for oversee the marketing side, assuring the new business spreads all over the country through the social media and advertisers Soccer Student-Athletes is seeking $5,000 in funding. This money will be invested to cover expenses such as registering the company, creating the website, and marketing and advertising. From this investment, the business expects to earn $5,000 in revenues in the first year.
