PROTOTYPE CYOA Reboot Edition V1.2 Made by REBORNanon Special thanks to red, top hat, allen, and the rest of the IRC for their help The year is 2008, and genius scientist Alex Mercer has just been shot dead at the hands of a Blackwatch hit-squad after stealing the Blacklight Virus that he had created for Gentek. Unfortunately for the rest of New York city he threw the vial of Blacklight on the floor in spite, shattering it moments before his death. The vial spread the infection incredibly fast, and turned the hit-squad into mindless monsters while Mercer was resurrected from it instead. Over the course of a few days the will fall city into chaos, soon followed by martial law as the government tries to contain the infection to save lives, and Black- watch is recruited to help combat this exotic threat. You have been gifted with 1000cp to help you survive the 10 years you will be spending here. Location: Roll 1d8 for starting location. Or choose for 100cp 1. Gentek Laboratories: The Biological and Genetic research facilities that were used to create Redlight and Blacklight viruses. The entire building has incredible security, so the only way you are likely to see any projects going on here is if you are the one doing the researching. 2. Pennsylvania Station: Ground Zero for the Blacklight virus in New York. Sinew surrounds the building and infected peer at you from every corner. 3. St. Paul Hospital: Located in Manhattan Island, this hospital hosts an ex-Gentek researcher who is now a physician here. 4. Apartment Complex: Located in downtown New York this unit features everything you would expect in a tiny apartment, other than your next door neighbor being a genius scientist that works for some kind of biology company. That being said, he left a couple nights ago and has not returned since... 5. Bloodtox Facility: This factory located in Harlem produces the one thing that infected are weak against, bloodtox. While this is a very important facility for the people, its location is kept under wraps to prevent people like Alex Mercer or other dissidents from potentially destroying one of the best hopes for the city. 6. Times Square: Ah, times square, one of the most iconic features of New York City. Here there are many dai- ly events and it is actually safe to be in for the most part. Until the infection reaches it, at which point this place becomes hell on earth. 7. Red Crown Command: The headquarters of the military for the time being, guarded by thousands of Ma- rines and Blackwatch troops. Expect a visit from a very angry man with a very angry stick sometime soon. 8. Free Choice: Pick any location above, or alternatively pick any location in New York.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
