Milagros Salazar Legal Environment of Business 11:00 AM T/Th January 21, 2019 Southern Prestige Industries, Inc. v. Independence Plating Corp. North Carolina State Court, Fourth Circuit, 690 S.E.2d 768 (2010). FACTS  Between July 27, 2007 and April 25, 2008 Southern Prestige Industries and  Independence Plating Corp made frequent transactions; 32 purchase orders to be exact. Plaintiff  shipped the parts to the defendant whom would anodize them and then send them back to  plaintiff in North Carolina. The defendant sent invoices and the plaintiff consequently paid them. When the plaintiff discovered that the machined parts sent from the defendant were defective,  the plaintiff filed a breach of contract action against the defendant.  ISSUE  Transactions were being made by two different companies in two different states, was  the state court correct in maintaining the jurisdiction of this case as personal?
