Lectures: Wednesday and Friday from 10:05 am 11:25 am in CO 372. Textbook: Linear Algebra and its Applications , Fifth Edition, David C. Lay. Prerequisites: Ontario Grade 12 Mathematics of Data Management; or Ontario Grade 12 Mathematics: Advanced Functions, or MATH 0005, or equivalent, or permission of the School. Grading Scheme: Tutorials 5 % In class quizzes 5% Tests 40% (highest 15%, lowest 5%, others 10%) Final Exam 50% Tutorials: Friday 13:35 14:25. Locations vary according to your tutorial section. Each tutorial is worth 0.5 % up to a maximum of 5%. Additional tutorials do not count for bonus marks. In class quizzes : There will be one question in each class. We will be using the Top Hat ( ) classroom response system in class. You will be able to submit answers to in-class questions using Apple or Android smartphones and tablets, laptops, or through text message.
