WORK MOTIVATION 2 Work Motivation Introduction Work motivation in a business set to refers to the inner feeling that energizes an employee to perform towards the realization of an organization’s goal. An organization’s atmosphere that is filled with motivation and proper employee engagement boost of ever improving performance and consistent success in operations. A motivated employee would want more responsibilities and high level of engagement. Such are the feeling that inspired me while at Genius Company during my internship. The level of employee motivation and the vigor with which work is done at the organization made admire the company and envy each employee since I was not employed yet. This paper seeks to describe the steps used to be taken to motivate workers, the connection of the methods of motivation to McGregor’s theory, and the Maslow’s needs the organization seems to address. What Steps did your organization’s Management take to motivate workers? Genius Company had development specific methods to motivate workers. The 1 st step the company to motivate workers was through empowering them. The organization empowered employees by giving them a chance to participate in the affairs of the organization through a decentralization of power.
