The most accurate way to tune your guitar is by using an electronic tuner (or an electronic tuner phone app). How does this work? When you play a string, the electronic tuner indicates whether you should raise the pitch —by tightening the correct tuning key, or lower the pitch—by loosening the correct tuning key.
