Hello everyone, my name is Francisca, but I go by Frankie. This is my second math class and my
final math class to complete my degree. This is also my second time having Professor Admiraal, I just
completed Fall 2 with her as my Professor. I have taken my fair share of math classes with all of them
ending with a bad grade. I always understand the information in the beginning of the class and then I
slowly start to fall behind. I am happy to say that did not happen in my last class with Professor Admiraal.
I felt I did very well in her class and I am very satisfied with my grade. Although I am not a fan of math
and it stresses me out, I am excited to learn more in this class with you all. Like I said, I just completed
my last math class so there are many concepts that I remember. I am not a fan of all of them but I do
remember, linear equations, inequalities, graphing linear equations, domain and range, exponents,
operations on polynomials and factoring. By taking this class I hope that I can learn more about these
concepts and really understand each step to figuring out the answer. Most things that we do in life are
based on math. I use it to figure out if I have enough gas to get from point a to point b. I use it when I am
buying something at the store. I use it when cooking, baking, and when I clock in and out of work. I have
and a good experience so far with this type of routine math. I have made sure to follow a schedule which
allows me to have enough time to work on my math and learn the concepts. I feel if I set the same
schedule with this class, I will be successful.
