Memorandum Date: September 12, 2007 To: Amanda Nowlin-O’Banion From: A Student Subject: Moodle Trip Report Within the last few weeks, each student was required to take a virtual trip through the Moodle online course website by completing an extensive itinerary. After finishing this itinerary, the user was to analyze all the accessible features of Moodle, and gain an appreciation for the issues discussed via the tasks assigned. This analysis serves as a tool to grade all the components of Moodle such as: user friendliness, functionality, communicatory methods, etc which will be utilized throughout the course. Under the circumstances that a problem arises during the use of Moodle the student was instructed to consult the other members of his designated group as to further gain an understanding of other features of Moodle and alleviate the situation. Accomplishments During this three week period a variety of topics presented themselves on the Moodle website. First, each person familiarized one’s self with the course utilities. Once used, a few features proved they would be of practical use throughout this semester and later in life. These attributes would be the use of blogs, digital schedule calendar, as well as the discussion forums . When approaching this lengthy trip an important consideration was efficient time management.
