Surname 1 Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Date The Frontier in American History The book entitled “The Frontier in American History” is written by Frederick Turner Jackson. Often the book is known to be one of the most famous works in the history of America. The basic argument in the book is the frontier and its beauty. However, the full settlement of the west is making it more like the rest of the country and shuttering the line of the frontier. There is also a significant influence of the work on individuals such as Theodore Roosevelt. The book had a substantial impact on the practices and ideas of imperialism of people like Roosevelt and the entire US ( Das et al. 56) . The book was such an influence on the imperialistic feelings and believes of US because of the very many statements of Americanization. According to Turner, many more settlers that were coming out of the west became like Americans in everything culture and habits included.
