1. After reading the article, briefly summarize the key points, concepts, strategies, lessons learned, etc. I feel like the basic point of this article was that B players are unsung heroes. I thought it was a bit ironic to read that A players often feel disappointed in B players because they don’t have the same aspirations or high goals. B players are happy being in the middle. Being a B player, I believe, requires a certain stability and sometimes bravery when things get chaotic in the work place. I love B players, they keep people sane with gentle reality checks and consistency. 2. What did you learn about yourself? I in function I am somewhere between being an A player and a B player. In job titles I have only ever been a B player and because I do what I do well and consistent and I’m naturally in introvert I think that’s why I have been passed up a lot. It’s disheartening sometimes. Especially now, as I’m in between standard 9-5 jobs. I think I know how to cheer on B players because I am one. There was this guy I used to work with great and consistent at his work, not a super crazy rising star A but his work ethic and personality were awesome, he was one of my favorites. One day I printed out a trophy that said “Best at completing work orders” – he didn’t stop talking about it for weeks!

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
