A movie is really made up of thousands of still pictures shown rapidly one after another In order to see an object you have to see it against some background. That’s why camouflage. The colors blend in with the background and they become hidden. What we have just seen establishes an expectation for what we will see next. Our expectations about what we will see can significantly effect our perceptions. Temporal contexts – our assumptions and expectations about what will happen.
