Instructional Page:1- PURPOSE: the purpose of the experiment is to resolve a force vector into its rectangular components, and to find the resultant of the number of forces on a body by using graphical, analytic, and experiment methods.2- EQUIPMENT: 1. Force table2. Different masses3. Ruler4. Protractor (with centimeters)3- Procedure Summary:Part 1: Info on why we can use the mass instead of the weightwe will deal with masses in grams, understanding that they represent forces due to the masses. Therefore, using the force as a mass in grams leads to no errors. Part 2: Vectors1) Vector Resolution:Resolving the vector into its x- and y- components by the following methods:a- graphical: make the X- and Y-axes and draw an arrow then drop is perpendicularly from the tip of the vector and measure the magnitudes of Fx and Fy then record the results.b- Analytical: calculate the magnitudes of Fx and Fy by using the component and triangle method then record the results.c- Experimental: Attach the 2 pulleys at 0 and 90 degrees and add weights to them until they balance the PAGE 1
