One myth is that raising minimum wages will cause people to lose jobs per the United States Department Of Labor 2015 over 600 economists including seven Nobel Prize winners wrote that increasing minimum wages had no negative effects on employment but could have a stimulative effect on the economy. Another myth about raising minimum wages is that it is bad for businesses.
