II.Process AnalysisAHiring Process:Maryland Technology consulting (MTC) is a very stable company thatoffers technology consulting services. MTC has received a tremendous growth and successfrom the talents of their IT consultants and the quality IT service it offers to its clients. Inthe anticipation of winning two large contracts, MTC plans to expand its workforce byemploying new consultants who will be able to offer IT consultation services promptly andefficiently. Currently, MTC is facing a challenge of hiring 75 consultants as fast as possibleand therefore it seeks to find a commercial off the shelf software product that willautomate manual hiring processes to improve its efficiency and effectiveness. Theintroduction of the IT system to higher new consultants will be of great importance to the
MTC because it will be able to solve the challenges that the current manual system hasbeen experiencing. MTC has used a manual hiring system for each new hire since May2008.
