“The kite runner” Khaled Hosseini (born March 4, 1965) is an Afghan-born American novelist and physician. Hosseini was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. His father worked as a diplomat, and when Hosseini was 11 years old, the family moved to France; four years later, they applied for asylum in the United States, where he later became a citizen. After returning to his hometown, Amir discovered the horrible secrets from his father who him always admired and that changed Amir. He rescued Hassan’s son from the Taliban and adopted him to atone for his sin from the past. The work is a comprehensive and emotional look at the beauty and the suffering of Afghans as well as the friendship and sacrifice of Amir and Hassan.
