Summaries 6-2017 Areas of Education Modernization ON THE REFORMING OF NATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM Vasily S. SENASHENKO – Dr. Sci. (Phys. and Math.), Prof., e-mail: [email protected] Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, Russia Address: 6, Miklukho-Maklaya str., 117198, Moscow, Russian Federation Abstract. The article considers the main stages of the reform of the Russian higher education system. It discusses the reasons why the ongoing educational reforms have not led to an improvement in the quality of higher education. Among them are the unreasonable use of foreign experience, the introduction of values based on material and consumer standards adapting the education system to market laws and the absence of a coherent national strategy for the development of higher education. The article also underlines that the further promotion of educational reforms in a positive direction is hardly possible without taking into account the views of the higher school community. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
