Introduction The logistical system is the lifeline to the majority of supply chains. A person can attribute the movement of products that we during their everyday travels that do include products that are loaded onto trucks, planes, vessels, and trains to logis- tics. This can include things that are not supposed to be aboard any of these modal- ities; such as hazardous materials, humans, as well as prohibited narcotics. The United States just so happens to be the largest buyer of narcotics; more specifically cocaine. The American is ready and willing to buy, whether it is for personal use or for redistribution. There have been numerous movies and documentaries that have recalled real life stories of how Americans have actually smuggled cocaine from Colombia via and available modality. A documentary that comes to mind is Ameri- can Gangster. There just really seemed to be an urgency in getting the product back to the United Sates by any means necessary. According to Bartilow and Eom, right now, there is a great demand and what appears to be a never ending supply. Not Your Typical Menu (request) Typically people do not go around openly saying, “Hey, do you have some cocaine handy for sale?” It is not something the ordinary, law abiding citizen hears on a daily basis either. This would be a questioned that would be best saved for those who have close contacts with those that have inner dealings with the drug world located somewhere in the Colombian vicinity. Usually people would want to have a close acquaintance to deal with rather than running into an un- known third party seller. This chosen person would then be the go between for the Colombian seller to the American buyer.
