Topic 2 – Sir George Cayley Sir George Cayley was very vital to our aeronautic history and is considered one of the first pioneers of scientific aerial experiments. By 1799, Sir George Cayley made the decision to make history with a possibly creating a concept of a modern airplane. He had first identified drags and lift vectors that would be later used by future aviation pioneers such as the “Wright Brothers”, who built the first flyable aero plane.
