Section 1: Purpose/Introduction
The purpose of this experiment was to use our knowledge of ohm's law in order to calculate what
the resistance should be going through a particular resistor and compare it to the actual resistance
we got. As V increases so does the I in the equation below however as R increases I decreases.

Section 2: Experimental Design and Details
In this experiment we utilized a multimeter, decade box, carbon resistor, light bulb, and
banana plug wires to examine resistors. We first set the decade box to a resistance of 200 and 500
and recorded the value. Next we used the power supply, ammeter, and voltmeter to set up a
circuit ensuring that both meters were in the right modes. From there we continued to turn on the
