ACT 3124: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND REPORTING III SEM 1 2018/2019 GROUP ASSIGNMENT (20%) TASK: In a group of FOUR members, pick one piece of news (for the past 5 years) related to business combinations (amalgamation, absorption or merger and acquisition (M&A)). Then, search for more information (such as information from newspapers, magazines, journals, books, websites, annual reports etc.) that you think relevant and related to this piece of news. Next, in a group, write a report not more than 10 pages (excluding appendices and references). Use 1.5 spacing for this assignment.
