The bicuspid valve, also known as mitral valve is between the left atrium and theleft ventricle. They areopen during systole and closed during diastole. The aortic valve is located between the left ventricle and the entrance to theaorta. Its role is to let the oxygenated blood flow through the aorta and getdistributed throughout the body. The pulmonary valve can be found between the right ventricle and the pulmonaryartery.
