Week 3 Discussions 1. Death Penalty The amount of time that is required before the death penalty is actually carried out gives any inmate an excessive quantity of time to appeal their case to make sure that there is no doubt of their guilt. At the prison I work at there are over 100 death row inmates, some who have been on death row since the 1970’s. I think that the system has already changed to make sure there is sufficient time for the innocent people to prove they are innocent. So I do believe that the risk is substantially smaller than it used to be so, yes I do believe we should be willing to pay that price. 2. Future Generations and Development Assume that by burning coal extensively, the U. S. causes a substantial increase in pollution and acid rain, and Canada, understandably, objects. How might the U. S. and Canada resolve this dispute?

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
