This article consists of mostly research about the effect of obesity on the cost of health- care since it's a proven fact that the high percentage of obese people in America does increase the overall cost of everyone's healthcare. A prime example that the article focuses on is if a small company provides their employees with healthcare and one of them is obese, then every individ- ual's health care coverage increases in price. The research shows that because of the cost of their group coverage each employee will have a decreased pay. This information seems almost insen- sitive, but I find it to be useful so that people can realize that even if they aren’t the one suffering from obesity they are still being effected.
