The dissolved concentration of oxygen in the water after it hits the factory would be +10 because it originated at 15 degrees. 3. Upstream, the fish that should inhabit the water would be the rainbow fish. As you travel downstream, the Northern Pike and Largemouth Bass would inhabit towards the middle of the stream. 4. Yes, fish can survive in waters with temperature and oxygen concentrations outside of their preferred range. This is possible because the fish are able to adapt to new environments that are not typical to them. This can only be done to a certain limit because fish can only adapt to small changes. 5. The water from the sewage plants, factories and subdivisions dissolve more oxygen. This is because the water that enters from these places raises the water temperature and lowers the amount of oxygen in the water. 6.
