Running head: DISTRICT MANAGER 2 Dunkin’ Donuts opened its doors in 1950 than has been expanding the company franchises. Dunkin’ Donuts is a market leader in sales of hot, decaffeinated and flavored coffee, iced coffee, bagels, donuts and muffins. Therefore, customers love them. They stick with DD at the highest rate in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR). The franchises can be found throughout the United States and across the globe. As a new district manager, and the show my full strategy that can support organizational strategy, job strategy, recruiting and training process, and performance outlines. Dunkin’ Donuts focuses on brand strength. Brand personality provides differentiation, increases performance and enhances trust and loyalty. It will also be a part of my focus for my outline strategy so my team grows and supports Dunkin’ Donuts strategies and mission. Dunkin’ Donuts goal is to make everything we do is about you. The chefs who create exciting new flavors, to crew members who know exactly how you want your drink—we prioritize what you need to get you on your way. We strive to keep you at your best, and we remain loyal to you, your tastes and your time. That’s what America runs on” (dunkindonuts.com, n.d., para. 1). Job Design Job design involves identifying appropriate job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure that assigned work can be completed successfully” (Baak, Reilly, & Minnick, 2014, DISTRICT MANAGER3 sec. 4.2). To build my job design I will focus on job analysis, job specification, and job description. I will work with the resources available in human resources (HR) to develop age of analysis and compare roles that other companies within the local area. I will use the comparisons to develop roles in my district. I will also use prior job descriptions from Dunkin’ Donuts to help develop responsibilities and roles. The
