Jocelyn Taylor Greene ISCI 2002 Professor Bob 17 January 2019 Activity Report 1 In the first week of our Physical Science for Teachers class we performed two different activities. We done the Dazzling Divers and Density Cups. The activity that I will be writing my report on for the first week of class is the Dazzling Divers. The purpose of the class doing this experiment was to gather our materials and perform the experiment. Upon performing the experiment, we were to analyze and obtain information about whether the object in the material(s) would either float or sink and to construct a reason as to why it did either or. We are investigating the property of buoyancy an object can have in a certain environment. Buoyancy is the ability or tendency for something to float in water, air, or some other fluid. The materials that we used were as follows: 2 liter soda bottle along with its cap (preferably a clear bottle).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
