This plan should not only demonstrate pedagogical content knowledge of your specialization, but it should also include the integration of technology, the use of collecting/analyzing data, and consideration of diverse populations in the given class for which it is designed. By the end of this lesson on fables students will be able to read a fable and understand the characteristics that make up a fable as well demonstrate good comprehension of the text by creating their own fables to present to the class. By the end of this lesson on theme students will be able to determine different themes within the same fable and be able to support the theme by identifying evidence and examples from the text through showing the theme and details by completing a graphic organizer. 1. PLANNING L EARNING O BJECTIVES ( AT LEAST TWO ) What will students do? All objectives must be measurable. Given different types of fables students will be able to analyze fables, find the moral of the story, and identify the message or theme of the fable with 80% accuracy. Students must be able to understand exactly what the theme of a story is in order for them to figure it out in a fable.
