Opportunity cost is the highest-valued alternative that must be given up to engage in an activity. Attending a four year college on campus would be a good experience but at the same time very costly. When attending a four year college on campus one has to taken into consideration the cost for: room and board, food, tuition, and other expenses. Some might choose this to experience a change of scenery or to just get away for the current living situation, and others might do it just because they do better with face-to- face learning. Living on campus does has its trade-offs. For instance you can’t see your family as much and you will have a very big debt to take care
