4-2-1 Short Response: Research Plan Preparation Question 1: Who were the major influences during this time? Revised: What influences did the government have on the decision on bombing Hiroshima and Nagasaki? I believe that this revised question is more in depth and not as broad as my original question. This question allowed me to narrow down my research options to things that specific to the government while researching the revised question. I found more articles and the research was easier since I narrowed down the question. The article that I would use would be: Bernstein, B. J. (1976). The uneasy alliance: Roosevelt, Churchill, and the atomic bomb, 1940–1945. The Western Political Quarterly, 29(2), 202– 230. Retrieved from ? url= Question 2: How were the Japanese and American civilians affected? Revised: How did the atomic bomb affect the relations and the civilians in the US and Japan?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
