Relationship between Human Resource Planning and Organizational Strategy 2 An organization’s success is highly dependent of the capability of its staff. It is known that organizations can create or produce technology and capital, however they cannot produce anything without the appropriate staffing. Staffing is a job function of the Human Resources (HR) department of the organization. The HR department can actually propel an organization through the challenges based on being able motivate and encourage staff. Human Resource Management (HRM) practices typically lead the organization to become a high-performance organization, which in turn can lead to more capital for the organization. “Furthermore, there is some empirical support for the hypothesis that firms, which align their business strategy, will achieve superior outcomes” (Bae & Lawler, 1999). It is because the HR department is about the people inside the organization (the core of any organization) that it actually hits the strategic plan. “When properly aligned, the human resource department contributes to a successful strategy and the financial bottom line of a company”; this means that an organization needs full involvement of the strategic growth index and the human resources department so that the two can pull out what the value is at the bottom line (2008). “Human resource planning begins with a forecast of the number and types of employees needed to achieve the organization’s objectives” (Ludenburg, 2012). Strategic planning is a step-by-step process of looking at the organization’s long term goals and what the resources are currently, and what will be expected to be available. Watching

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
