What jobs should require personality tests prior to hiring a candidate? What traits are important for these jobs? There are a few jobs that I think should be required to take personality tests prior to hiring a candidate are, police officer, any job in the medical field, and teachers or daycare providers. Those professions have influence over many people. With all of the public negative and positive publicity about police officers, it would be in the best interest for our community if they took personality tests. The traits I think which are important to be an officer of the law is empathy, trustworthiness, and efficiency. Next, the traits the medical field individual should be compassionate, stable, and dependable. They need to have a strong mental and physical health when providing health care for us. Finally, the important traits a teacher or a daycare provider needs be organized, compassionate, and energetic.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
