with the deﬁnition of capacitance, write out the boundary conditions and the equations
used, the corresponding laws and their equations in integral form. (Assume the
dielectric between the. plates is free space or air) (b) (20 points) For the same parallel plates, if we assume that a surface current I ﬂows in
the X direction on one plate and in the —X direction on the other plate, derive the
inductance of the conﬁguration. Write out the details and the deﬁnition as in part (a). (c) (5 points) For the dimensions a = 5cm, b = 5 cm and
d = 1cm, calculate the capacitance and the inductance of
