Reep 1Ashley ReepT. Snow English 11224 February 2019A medical career in nursing: Annotated Bibliography Brown Carolyn, personal interview 1 Feb. 2019. My high school friend, Carolyn Brown is a compassion, intelligent, thriving, and amazingnurse in the air force. She has only been deployed for a little over a year. I was thrilled to get to know more about her and her job. I was shocked to learn new things about my best friend that I had no clue about. One of my questions during the interview was why did you decide to become a nurse? She didn’t even take a min to think about it. “The reason I choose to be a nurse in the airforce was to help the one risking their lives for us. I saw a great opportunity for me, and I took.” Before now I have no investigated being a nurse for the arm, nave, air force, ECT, but now I have realized that it is something I need to consider while working toward my future. After this interview I learned all the good benefits that come with serving for our country. This would be a great starting career for myself to be able to get some good money and retire early to become the stay at home mom I have always dreamed of. I have always wanted to serve for my country but with my health condition I was unable to. After talking to Ms. Brown, I have learned about another option to still be able to serve my country as like my father. The information gathered from this interview has led me to believe thatfollowing my dream is still an option just taking a different route that is best for me and my fu-ture goals.
