CREATIVITY 2 Creativity Part one Creativity can be defined as the human attribute or trait that allows them to be able to come up with new ideas that have never existed before (Jerome, 2018). This gives human beings productive lives since it allows them to become competitive in everything they are doing. Isaacson describes creativity as the ability of the person to apply imaginations into intellect and at the end; the person is able to create something that has never existed before. Irrespective of the different ways that creativity has been defined by different authors, it is clear that some of the common characteristics from the different definitions include the ability of a person to connect unrelated ideas and create something that has never existed before. It is important to note that creativity is a skill that can be developed by all human beings. According to psychologists, every individual has some degree of creativity even though some people tend to be more creative than others. Creativity is a skill that can be developed like any other skills that a person possesses. One of the other characteristics that creative people have includes ambitions, flexibility, and innovation.
