It seemed like he had hit rock bottom. I hope that he hasn’t alienated his family. Talk about what went well in the scenario.Andrew knew that he had a problem and he was willing to come in and get help. He was able to answer all the questions asked of him. Reflecting on Andrew Davis’ case, were there any actions you would do differently? If so, what were these actions and why? I would like to know more about when the Alcohol abuse disorder began. I would also tell him what triggers where, if he didn’t already know and ask him if he would identify the situations that trigger his needs for alcohol. Scenario Analysis Questions*PCCWhat issues have you identified that could be barriers to a successful treatment for Andrew Davis? A barrier would be for Andrew to not want to confront the issues that he has with alcoholand depression. Another barrier is if he had friends or associates that also abuse alcohol. How would you address the denial?I would help him to recognize that his behavior is creating problems at the church, school board and with his family.
