Air cargo operations specifically include air express, air freight, and air mail services. There are many different factors that affect these air cargo operations, including economic conditions, regional capabilities, time sensitivity, and more. The air cargo industry can easily see loss or gain, depending on these particular factors. Let’s examine how these factors affect the industry, attempting to promote the growth of air cargo. Economic Conditions In general, economic conditions affect supply and demand, regardless of industry (Fernandes, 2015). Economic conditions could be affected from situations such as war, strikes, and terrorism.
