The mission statement of Coastline Airlines is “To provide exceptional service by using simple procedures, ensuring a stress-free travel experience for all”. Coastline will operate as a hybrid air carrier, using both low-cost airline and full-service carrier qualities. These qualities will put the airline a step above low-cost airlines, competing for customers from low-cost airlines and full-service airlines. As long as Coastline is efficient in their operations, the airline should continue to grow.Controls in Airline Strategic Planning and ManagementThere are many different strategic controls that Coastline Airline will implement to promote growth and increase revenue. Examples include airline operation efficiency, pricing strategy, inventory/yield management, operating cost reduction, and more. With these strategic controls, airline revenue will continue to increase, promoting Coastline Airline’s success.
COASTLINE AIRLINES2Identifying key efficiencies and cost-effective strategies allows Coastline to also remain competitive in the airline industry. Efficient operations increase potential revenue for the airline,promoting overall growth.
