I write only after long thought about the many issues between us. Some issues and events of the last few years include the over protection of soldiers in New England long after the French-Indian war has ended in 1763. You see, in the American colonies, we believe that the purpose of government is to be fair and understanding. Government should protect the citizens and not be too selfish, stingy or going through a powertrip. It should follow the principles of John Locke, such as ina natural state all people were equal and independent.These ideas mean that everyone had a natural right to defend his life, health, liberty or possessions. The role of government in natural law is to act in obedience. Unfortunately, you have not lived up to these expectations as a ruler. One example of how you have disappointed us is not allowing our population in all states to grow. This affects our rights because
