Slavery is the major cause of the battle and it claimed over 6 million lives. Historians for example Charles bead and Mary claim that the main cause the war was economic labor, capital, and expansion between the division of the South and North America. To overcome this problem, slaves were the preferred cheap labor. This paper will elaborate on the importance of the development of a strong central national government, the necessity of the development, the reasons and the outcomes. The economic situation urgently prompted the development of a strong central national government (Pradella 460).
