Teach to get annual eye exam o Side effects/Adverse effects: Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and thiazide diuretics because they increase uric acid levels Increase fluid intake to increase uric acid excretion Encourage to keep appointments Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) (ASA) o Caution Do not take with other NSAIDs. * Avoid during third trimester of pregnancy.
