Part: 1As a part of your responsibility you are required to prepare a report that describesdifferent software development cycles. Your report must include the following: 1.Description of predictive and adaptive software development models considering at leasttwo iterative and two sequential models. 2.The risks involved in each of the models and how the risk can be mitigated /managed ineach model by taking a reference of the spiral model. Once you have prepared the report you are required to produce documentation that3.Describe with an example why a particular lifecycle model is selected for a developmentenvironment. You may consider a different development environment with differentbusiness logics, platform, etc., and the applicability of the particular softwaredevelopment model over the development environment. 4.Assess the merits of applying the waterfall model to a large software development projectwith appropriate evidenced researched work with reference to the current context. Introduction:According to the scenario, I am working as a systems analyst for developing a new system ofa large insurance company with other system analysts as a developer team. As, I am requiredto update the system using new steps and approaches like agile methodology which aregrowing in popularity in software development world. In this particular part of tasks, I amgoing to prepare a report that describes different types of software development cycles.Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)can also be known as application developmentlifecycle. This is the lifecycle which produces as much good quality application it can in lowcost in short period of time. This includes of a plan in detail for developing, maintaining, andreplacing a software system. There are different examples of SDLC and some of them are-Waterfall model, Agile model, Iterative model, Big bang Model, Spiral Model, etc. There aredifferent phases of System Development Lifecycle:
Different phases of System Development Lifecycle:1.Planning-First and the initial phase of SDLC is planning. This phase is used for finding out theproblems and decide the correct solution. Resources, costs, time, benefits and otherthings are considered here.2.Analysis-This is the second phase in which the teams consider the functional requirements ofthe project or solution. System analysis takes place in this phase of analyse the needsof the users to secure new system can meet how much they have thought about it.3.Design-This phase describes about the required statement, features and the requiredoperations that will fulfil the functional requirements of the purposed system whichwill be in place.4.Development-Now the practical work begins, this phase work for the development of theapplication. This phase is also characterised by installation and change.
