LEARNING JOURNAL 1 Concept/Topic- Rest and Sleep Rest and sleep are both very important in our day-to-day lives. The average person should get around 6 to 9 hours of sleep every day/night. Getting the sleep that you need allows you to be recharged, have energy, and focus. Though it is important to get enough sleep, it is also possible to get too much sleep. Getting too much sleep can result in lower metabolism or lack of motivation. Everyone should find the right amount of sleep that fits them best and stick to that cycle the best that they can. It is important to make sure that sleep quality is insured, as quality is more important than quantity. Sensational- Sleep impacts everyone. Without sleep it is impossible for our bodies to recharge themselves from the day before and ready themselves for the upcoming day. Getting quality sleep is the most important factor of all, as if a person can get 6 good hours of sleep, they will be better off than someone who tossed and turned for 9. Sleep is important to everyone, and it is essential to make sure that we can follow a cycle in our lives. Without appropriate sleep, or even from too much sleep, we will start to suffer from sleep deprivation, lower metabolism, and lower motivation in our day-to-day lives.
