Dear Mr. Fonash: Ever since I was I was a little girl I have always loved to be part of the things around me. My parents always told me to get involved, make friends, and to do my part. From playing soccer and being the highest seller on the team for nearly every fundraiser, to helping out in my churches youth group, being involved has always been a big part of my life. In high school I was in many clubs and groups and got very involved in each. I was in Chorus, Teen Court, Busted, National Honor Society, Upward Bound, The Interscholastic Reading Competition/ Reading Team, Spanish Club, and The Drama Club. To be more involved in these clubs I held positions as secretary, treasure, and vice president in a few of them; and for Drama Club I worked on the stage crew and set design, did hair and make up, designed costumes, did lights and sound, and even did a little acting. The productions I was a part of were “Get Smart”, “Pillow Talk”, “Meet me in St. Louis”, and “The Wizard of Wonderland”. The only play I performed in however, was “The Wizard of Wonderland” where I played the character of “The Wicked Witch of the West” in my senior year.
