When the teacher starts the math lesson, Dan starts to daydream. This is explanatory fiction. Is the teacher sure he is day dreaming? Daydreaming is subjective. Maybe Dan is thinking. 4. When Marie is nervous, she bites her fingernails. This is explanatory fiction. How do you know Maria is nervous? To say Maria is nervous is subjective.
