Where the lush green grass whispered to the immense trees. Where the sun kissed flowers giggled and flirted with the sun. Where he could savor the crispy January air. The venturesome French inventor, Jean Pierre Blanchard was the first to surmount across the resplendent skies of the United States. He eventually landed in Deptford, New Jersey. The land that’s implanted with purple violets, eastern goldfinches, honey bees, and red oak trees. According to nj.com, “The balloon lifted off..and was supposed to travel much longer than the 46 minute trip it actually completed..‘they didn’t say why it came down in Deptford,’she said.” The first hot air balloon adventure was actually supposed to be way longer, but for some odd reason it landed in Deptford. The balloon landed in Deptford for a reason because it helped us to evolve and have amazing school systems, and stunning areas of entertainment.
