Graham1 Jake Graham Mrs.Gaddy AP Psychology 05 March 2019 02.00 Free Response Question Practice Randy has been experiencing several disturbing symptoms over the last year including muscle weakness, slow reaction time, visual perception issues, seizures, hearing loss, weight gain, a general sense of pain, and delusions. Doctors are concerned with the neurotransmitters, hormones, Myelin sheath, occipital lobe and temporal lobe. I think that they are concerned with them because it’s a chemical that can effect cells. The neurotransmitter can cause slow reaction time. Hormones can be linked to the muscle weakness and weight gain. The doctors look into the myelin sheath because is concerned with the proper use of the nervous system. If the myelin sheath is damaged the nervous system can’t function properly. The myelin sheath can be the cause of Randy to feel pain. The doctors question the occipital lobe because it deals with visual information your eyes receive. The occipital lobe can cause delusions.
