White1 Tamoi White Laura Fussell English 100 19 September 2018 Journal 1 My first impressions with this book was surprising I honestly like this book so far usually I don't like to read unless I really like a book. But so far I enjoy the book and I think this book is going to be very interesting. In this book I like how the main character was born with all those problems with his brain and how his family is so poor, and he kinda tends to not show emotions towards that. One thing I hate is how the main character was getting bullied and beat up at the rec and no one is doing anything to stop it. Although, the most interesting character I find to like is Rowdy the main character best friend and that is because he somewhat has the same problems as the main character, but I like the relationship he has with the main character and how he sticks up for him.
